For about 22 years, 40-year-old Sashindran had spent his life making tea and coffee for his customers at this little shop near Greams Road in Chennai. Then one day lady luck smiled on him. A manager of a five star hotel tasted Sashi's coffee. It did not take him long to decide that Sashi's skill with the beverage would add just the right bit of local flavour to his hotel.
