
Delhi had a date with Sufi music masters when renowned singers, the Sabri and the Wadali brothers, took audiences to spiritual heights at the Dharohar music festival, next to the Qutub Minar. The Sabris now consist of the second generation but their music is as stirring as it was in the time of Gulam Farid Sabri, who founded the act in 1956.
