A newborn died in a government hospital in Udaipur after doctors allegedly cut off the baby's arm during a caesarian section. Parents alleged that baby succumbed to injuries three days later. The hospital authorities have, however, been denying the allegation. "Her arm was cut off during the operation. She was lying helpless for two days without even a proper dressing," said the baby's father Ranjeet.
