Close on the heels of CNN-IBN's expose on fake doctors, the Karnataka government inspection has found that its own Ayurveda board has registered 150 fake doctors because of a corrupt official who gave backdated certificates to several doctors. The move comes a week after two children were killed due to wrong medication by a suspected fake doctor.
MCI is aware of fake doctors in India but is taking no action against them.
