
Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was discharged from AIIMS on Sunday after doctors declared him fit. Vajpayee reached home after 26 days of stay at the Intensive Care Unit. The veteran leader was admitted after complaints of chest infection on February 3 which was later diagnosed as pneumonia.
Vajpayee, 85, was admitted to the VIP ICU of the AlIMS on Tuesday.
