Blatter to confirm Obama's World Cup invitation

FIFA president Sepp Blatter intends to invite US President Barack Obama to the 2010 World Cup personally when the two meet at the White House on Monday. Blatter says the invitation has already been extended and that he will "confirm it" at the meeting with Obama.

South Africa won the rights to host the 2010 World Cup three years ago.
