Rape victim Sheila Devi (name changed) has been fighting for justice for the last 13 years. Sheila was raped by former Rajasthan DIG Madhukar Tandon who has been absconding. Now she has got the support of her entire village of Ramwas in her fight for justice. The villageers have elected Sheila's husband as their Sarpanch, hoping that he would take up their issues too with the same grit.
The erstwhile Jaipur royal family had also lost a legal battle in 2002.
