The government has sent the Domestic Violence Act to a panel of experts for review after allegations that it was being misused to harass men. Even the Supreme Court has called the Act a clumsily drafted law. Women rights group fear there is a conspiracy to dilute the law, which widens the definition of law and was enacted last year.
