Devil's Advocate: Left won't support Cong, says Karat

The Left Front withdrew support to the Congress-led UPA Government last year after the Union Government decided to go ahead with the Indo-US nuclear deal. CPI-M General Secretary Prakash Karat has been a vocal opponent of any strategic alliance with the US and is very critical of the deal. With Lok Sabha polls round the corner, Karat has made it clear that the Left will form the Third Front with the help of secular parties and not support the Congress.
