Haryana poll candidate demands condom as symbol

An Independent candidate in Karnal is giving the Election Commission the blushes with his unusual request as he wants a condom as his election symbol. Social activist Anand Prakash Sharma, who is contesting the Haryana Assembly elections next month, has opted for the rather unusual election symbol because his agenda focuses on issues like the spread of HIV/AIDS and the rights of sex workers.
