Chikungunya hits Karnataka, Kerala, Delhi at risk

Apart from Bihar where there are fears of an outbreak of disease as the flood waters recede, more cases of Chikungunya are reported in the states of Karnataka and Kerala with the recent outbreak in the Dakshin Kannada and Kasaragode areas. More than 70,000 cases of Chikungunya have been recorded across the country this year which is almost 100 per cent more than the number of cases recorded last year.
