PM regrets death 'caused' by his security

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has apologised to the family of a kidney patient who died outside a Chandigarh hospital because the security measures for the PM visit's allegedly barred his entry to the hospital. Sumit Prakash Verma, 32, who was suffering from renal failure and other complications, died on Tuesday outside a leading hospital because security measures allegedly delayed him from reaching the emergency wing.
