CBI lets off Quattrocchi, but says probe secret

The CBI has told a New Delhi court that charges against Italian businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi, the prime accused in the two-decade-old Bofors gun corruption case, should be dropped because all its attempts to extradite him have failed. But the agency refuses to how it investigated Quattrocchi. The agency has rejected a lawyer's Right to Information petition, saying making documents public it would harm its investigation.
