
Expelled BJP leader Uma Bharati is trying to warm up to her former party. The firebrand Bharatiya Jansakti leader has written a letter to BJP's prime ministerial candidate L K Advani telling him that she wants to see him as the prime minister of the country. Uma Bharti had troubled relations with Advani when she was in the party and he was the party president. She had famously stormed out of the party meeting in 2004 after speaking out against Advani.
Anil Rai is believed to be close to BJS's breakaway faction.
